I like both this one and "Roots" equally, they're both brilliant.

Hi My Angel,
you would hit me with a tough one -- hehehe -- on top of it you are asking a minimalists to help you - hehehe -- I know you put many hours into this piece -- this may shock you but it works very well as a drawing & do not put a full view on it -- it looks so similar to a tree to me -- orgainci imagery always does this to people - it is like looking at clouds & seeing what you can see in them -- this is why it is so hard dealing with this type of imagery -- when I got deeply into it I found it to be all the same -- if actually went flat -- this is my opinion so do not get upset -- art is subjective just like psychology -- everyone sees it differently -- I would get rid of the over done amount of lines -- they are like choking the piece for air -- you need more contrast between lights & darks -- I know you do not wan this piece to shine -- this is why I feel very strongly about reducing the amount of line work -- it will open it up for you -- then you will be able to get the contrast that is needed to give it some power & not appear to be so flat -- what has happened -- I think -- is you just did not know when to stop or you got stuck & did not know what to do so you kept adding -- when I get to this point I begin to strip a piece apart to the bones that make it work -- once you find the bones or foundation to build upon you will be able to bring this piece around for you -- am I making any sense at all? At this point right now I cannot go any further cuz there is so much going on to where it is killing your piece -- I hope I have been able to help & have not hurt you with my opinion -- please let me know what you think after you read this OK -- I am honored you came tome for help -- thank you & I hope I did just that for you -- I Love You My Angel - take care & remember I am always here for you -- Nancy

Hi -- my friend asked me for help -- I have a Master's in studio art & have taught part time in community colleges -- I mess up with letters when i type cuz of an illness I have -- my friends over look my typos & understand what I am trying to say -- when I am asked to help I go in very deep to a piece with all my knowledge behind me -- thank you for your comment - I appreciate it greatly -- I do not watch very many people cuz of my ability to make such long comments -- I am known for them - if ever you need any help feel free to come to me -- I am currently teaching a friend through E-mails about some things in art she does not know -- Ido not know why people cannot go into a piece like I do around here -- Iwould like someone to do the same for me -- such is life -- thankyou very much & please take care --
